Set up in 2013, Stockton Showstoppers is an all girls choir that runs alongside Locomotion.  The group is a Tees Valley Music Service ensemble and it specialises in exploring songs from Musical Theatre, Film and Television.  The group is directed by Nikki Lycett-Findlay and guest conducted by Ben Findlay.
In their short time together, the girls have participated in numerous charity fundraisers for Teeside Hospice, Butterwick Children's Hospice, Children in Need and CLIC Sargent to name a few.  They are regularly approached to perform for private engagements and were invited to perform at theLord Lieutenant's annual dinner.  Throughout the year, the girls will join forces with Locomotion to explore a greater variety of repetoire.
If you know of anyone who enjoys singing songs from the shows and the movies then tell them to come along to Stockton Showstoppers every Tuesday during term time 5pm-6pm at TVMS, Bishopton Road West, Stockton.
